Actually, diapers stored in the diaper bag smell surprisingly little. This is because air can circulate well in our diaper bag. The fabric is breathable, thus hardly any smells are produced. However, if you store the diapers in an airtight manner, unpleasant smells can develop.

Important for the storage of the diapers are also:

1. a cool place (do not store on underfloor heating or in direct sunlight)

2. dry environment (do not place wet washcloths or rinsed diapers in the wet bag)

3. storage no longer than 4 days (diapers should be washed after at most 4 days in the wet bag)
